User Data Deletion Instructions

In compliance with Meta Platform Terms, LinkedIn API Developer Policies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), KforCollab provides simple mechanisms for users to request erasure of their personal information and social media connection tokens.

Option 1: Instant Self-Serve Disconnect (Recommended)

If you have an active KforCollab account, you can revoke access tokens immediately without waiting for manual verification:

  1. Log in to your dashboard and navigate to Settings → Connected Accounts.
  2. Locate the connected provider (e.g. Meta Instagram Business or LinkedIn) and click Disconnect Account.
  3. All cached tokens, page tokens, and graph handles are immediately purged from our servers.

Option 2: Revoke Access Directly via Facebook / Meta

You can disconnect KforCollab directly from your Facebook settings:

  1. Go to your Facebook Profile > Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. Scroll to Permissions and click Apps and Websites.
  3. Locate KforCollab and click Remove.
  4. (Optional) Check the box to allow Meta to notify KforCollab to delete all user activity and data.

Option 3: Submit Official Data Deletion Request

Submit an authenticated erasure request. We will immediately dispatch a verification email to confirm account ownership before purging data.

What Data is Deleted vs. Retained?

Permanently Deleted:
  • Meta OAuth access tokens, page tokens, and Instagram user IDs.
  • LinkedIn OpenID tokens and vanity identifiers.
  • Profile bios, brand logos, and media kit downloadable assets.
  • Unpublished barter offers and draft proposals.
Retained for Legal/Audit Compliance:
  • Double-entry ledger transaction logs for completed deal escrows (anonymized).
  • Billing receipts and VAT invoice records (required by tax law).
  • Dispute mediation rulings and fraud audit records.
